Rooted is such a special place in Rockford and has gifts and home goods for anyone and everyone. Really cool, finely curated offerings that span a wide range of price points so there’s something for every occasion. The owner is incredibly helpful and is really active in amping up and supporting Rockford. Good stuff all around!!

Liz at Rooted is incredible! She created a flower bouquet for our principal that was absolutely stunning. Her attention to detail and creativity truly made it special. Rooted is one of my favorite gift shops in the Rockford area! It is always stocked with unique and artsy one of a kind items. It’s perfect for when I need to run in and grab a quick bouquet and/or gift. We are lucky to have such an amazing shop :)

I’ve been shopping at Rooted for years and love the consistency in products, quality, and design. I can find something for everyone in my life (and myself) in one gorgeous spot. Picked, the floral shop owned and operated by the same woman, is constantly impressing me with their selection of grab-and-go bouquets and seasonal/holiday floral arrangements. I actually started drying the flowers I buy from Picked so I can hold on to them longer 😂 If you haven’t stopped in here yet, you are truly missing out on one of the coolest places Rockford has to offer.

10 out of 10, what a gem! Great boutique gift shop with local art, mindfully curated items, and don’t leave without grabbing a tasty from Wonderland Sweets. Perfect for showers, new home, birthdays or something special for yourself. Jewelry, bags, face treats, stationary, socks, candles, fun things and more—yes, please. The staff was super friendly, greeted me promptly, and offered to help me if needed. I love having a local option to shop more intentionally for loved ones.

Liz from Rooted put together the most beautiful custom arrangement for my grandma’s birthday. The mix of soft cream and bright yellow roses, delicate pink blooms, and the striking protea in the center made it feel really special and unique. It had such a natural flow and thoughtful balance — not too formal, just really tasteful and vibrant. My grandma loved it and kept pointing out her favorite flowers. You could tell it was made with care. I really appreciate how Liz brought everything together — it was exactly what I was hoping for. Highly recommend Rooted if you want something personal and well-crafted.

Rooted is my go-to gifting store. There’s truly something for everyone in your life: creative greeting cards, chocolate, quirky home items, Baggu, jewelry, gourmet food (including my favorite coffee syrups!) and SO much more. The inventory is constantly changing, and Rooted is full of things you won’t see somewhere else. Picked by Rooted is in the same shop space. Being able to grab unique floral that you can’t find anywhere else in Rockford is such a dream! The grab and go bouquets also make great gifts. All of the shop employees are gems, so this store is a slam dunk every visit for me. Love it!

Rooted is one of my very favorite shops in Rockford! Always a go to for cool and unique gifts that you can't get everywhere. The owner Liz is so involved in our community and very supportive of other local small businesses too! It's truly a bright spot for our town! Also I would be remiss in not mentioning the amazingly beautiful floral arrangements Liz has at Picked by Rooted on a weekly basis. One of her arrangements was all I asked for my birthday this year!

Rooted is my favorite place to shop in Rockford!! Liz has such a great eye for design and you can tell when you visit the store. Every corner is filled with unique home goods and thoughtful decor you don’t see anywhere else. It’s the perfect spot to find gifts, and the online shop makes ordering super easy (you can ship to your home or pick up at the store). Liz’s floral arrangements are gorgeous too and always feel so artfully put together. Highly recommend to locals or anyone traveling through town!
